Kinder Cereali Muffins!
Updated: Apr 13, 2021
This is a very Italian recipe since it's a tribute to this Italian candy bar named "Kinder Cereali"

I got the inspiration for this recipe from here but then I changed it a bit to make these treats more chocolatey and delicious.
I hope you like it and give it a try :)

INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
90g sugar (any kind)
115g all purpose flour
50g cornstarch
60 ml vegetable oil
50 ml milk
1 Tbs cocoa powder
4g baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
20g Rice Krispies
Kinder chocolate bars

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare your muffin tins.
In a bowl sift flour, cornstarch, baking powder and cocoa powder and mix with a spoon; leave it aside.
In another bowl whisk together with an hand mixer eggs and sugar until light and foamy.
Add oil and milk and keep beating.
Then leave the mixer and add gradually the sifted dry ingredients to the mixture. Add half of the Rice Krispies and fold with a rubber spatula until there won't be any flour lump.
Pour 1 tablespoon of batter in each muffin tin (we are making 9 muffins here) and then insert in the middle 2 small pieces of chocolate bars.
Cover with 1 tablespoon of batter and top with the remaining Rice Krispies.
Bake for about 20 minutes.
Enjoy :)
RECIPE NOTES:
You can use corn/potato/wheat starch.
If you feel like your batter is too thick add a splash of milk.
