Fruity Pebbles Super Bowls

Updated: Apr 13

Lately I've been working for an American company and besides the recent big snowfall in New York, all I've heard about is the upcoming Super Bowl.

Honestly I've no idea what they are talking about.

My knowledge of sports is very very limited.

So please let me go ahead and say the joke that this small audience absolutely needs:

Super Bowl!? This is the only super bowl that I know! 🤦‍♀️

And it's super delicious!! 😊

It's a Fruity Pebbles bowl filled with greek yogurt and garnished with raspberries and, why not, some more colourful cereal 😅

This is a super easy, fun and highly customisable recipe and, jokes aside, you should definitely check it out! (I adapted it from here)

--- FILLING ---

  1. Oil with melted butter or nonstick cooking spray the back side of 2 muffin cups and set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan melt the butter over medium heat. Then add the marshmallows and salt and stir until melted.

  3. Remove from the heat and quickly mix in the Fruity Pebbles cereal until incorporated.

  4. While the crispy cereal mix is still warm shape it against the back of the prepared muffin cups and gently press down using a greased spatula or your hands.

  5. Allow treats to set at room temperature or in the fridge for at least 1 hour before removing them from their mould (they will be firm but still a bit "shapeable").

  6. Fill up the Fruity Pebbles bowls with greek yogurt, crushed cereal and raspberries.

  7. Enjoy :)

  • You can also use other kinds of cereal like Rice Krispies or Cheerios but of course they won't be this colourful.

  • You can fill these bowl with whatever you want (ice cream? plain yogurt?) but whatever you decide to use I suggest filling them only at the moment of serving otherwise they will soften too much.

  • You can store these bowls (without filling) at room temperature inside an airtight container for a few days.

If you make it let me know! :)
