Chocolate & Peanut Butter baked donuts
Updated: Jan 10, 2022
Happy Friday friends!
How are you holding up?
I haven't left my house since forever but still, I'm exhausted 🤷♀️
I'm not sure if there is something that can actually shake things up in this kind of life but let's try with these Chocolate & Peanut Butter baked donuts, shall we?
Well, unfortunately I made them and ate them months ago 😅 but I remember very vividly that they were super flavourful, moist and delicious 🤤
I hope you'll give it a try one day.
You can check out the super easy recipe below!!

INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
175g granulated sugar
175g milk
30g vegetable oil*
50g peanut butter
225g self-rising flour
--- CHEERIOS CHOCOLATE GLAZE ---
125g dark chocolate
Peanut butter

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a bowl add sugar, milk, oil, peanut butter and egg; mix well with a hand whisk until you get a creamy consistency.
Add self-rising flour (sifted!) into the mixture and stir well with a rubber spatula until all combined (do not mix too much).
Grease your donut pan with oil or cooking spray.
Pour the batter into the pan with a teaspoon filling up to 3/4 otherwise the donut holes are going to close during the baking process.
Bake for about 12 minutes.
Let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
Melt dark chocolate in the microwave or on a double boiler.
Glaze the tops of the donuts and garnish either with Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios or with melted peanut butter stripes.
Enjoy :)
RECIPE NOTES:
You can use 40g melted butter instead of oil.
With this batter you can also bake regular or mini muffins.
The donut pan I'm using is this one.
