Cereal cake balls
Updated: Apr 13, 2021
Here another very green recipe :D
Super green I must say.
What's the difference between cake balls and cake pops? Well I didn't have any plastic stick so I place them in mini silicone cups and they are just balls, or truffles if you like fancy names.
Whatever you want to call these treats I can guarantee they are just super yummy and addictive.

INGREDIENTS:
115g leftover cake
whipped cream
--- COATING ---
Dark chocolate
Honey cereal crumbles

DIRECTIONS:
Prepare 8-9 silicone or paper mini cups.
Crumble your leftover cake (I used the one left from my Mini Clover Sandwich Cakes) and place it in a bowl.
Add enough whipped cream to get a wet consistency but not too moist.
Make 8-9 balls with a small ice cream scoop and place them inside your prepared mini cups.
Melt dark chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler (in this case I highly recommend the double boiling situation since the chocolate is going to harden very quickly and it will be difficult to work with it).
Dip your cake balls in the melted chocolate with a fork.
Roll them in honey cereal crumble and put them back into their cups.
Place them in the fridge to set for at least 30 minutes.
Enjoy :)
